A Resolution: Navigation, Resilience, and Action for the Times Ahead

For Navigation
Clarity makes the terrain readable, but doesn’t modify it.
See the path.
The ugly, beautiful, difficult, and frightening parts of the path become yours, when you choose to walk there, or have to.
Either way, see it for what it is, not what it could be.
Not what you would have preferred.
Preferences and opinions do not change the dirt underfoot.

For Resilience
It does not need to stop hurting, and it won’t always stop.
The hurting needs to make sense.
Name the wounds. Track the marks.
Pain provides information, if you are willing to acknowledge that.

For Action
Move with awareness.
Direction over noise.
The step you take matters more than the speed you claim.
Momentum is built in the body, not announced in the mind.
Orientation to face the storm, not to change the storm.

The 2026 Core
Hold the compass.
Not because it points to comfort, but because it points true.
You are the one walking.
No one else can hold it for you.

  1. I read this over and over. I shared this on my facebook feed. I will be printing this out and posting it at work. This is a phenomenal piece.

    1. Jenn, your words just made my whole 2026 brighter, thank you!
It’s humbling to hear it’s resonating enough for multiple reads, shares, and even a workplace “poster” 🙂
