The TikTok Prophet: Preaching Meaninglessness.

You know the type. The TikTok bobblehead prophets. “Everything is meaningless.”
They nod, they smirk, they speak with absolute certainty.
Opinion dressed up as truth.
And because half a million people clicked “follow,” we’re supposed to treat them like saints of wisdom.

But here’s the reality: they’re parrots. They recycle other people’s lines. They offer nothing new, nothing useful, no way forward. Their “truth” is basically sliding a note across the table that says, life is shit. No context. No advice. No chance to argue.

Their favorite trick? Declare everything a scam. Doctors are a scam. Work is a scam. Life itself is a scam. And they rattle off twenty claims in one breath. Too many for anyone to question. But stop and think: that doctor they’re mocking?  He’s paying a mortgage. He’s raising kids. He’s not some cartoon villain running a con.

And that’s the whole problem: they don’t dig, they don’t define. They only flood you with despair.

So here’s the question I’d love to ask them:
If everything is pointless… what’s the point of your video?
Or is your video the point?

Because that’s the scam. They’re not selling truth. They’re selling attention. They screw with your head, make you nod along like an idiot, then deliver the real sermon: The only commandment they preach is engagement, the only altar they serve is the algorithm. Don’t forget to like and subscribe.

That’s it. The big revelation. Not wisdom. Not clarity, merely an ad for themselves.

But let’s not pretend the hunger isn’t real.
People aren’t flocking to these TikTok prophets because they love despair.
They’re looking for honesty. In a world of perceived perfection, corporate crud, and endless hustle-culture, that vid feels real.
It says out loud what many are afraid to admit: that life is hard, that systems are flawed, and we feel our souls are crushed.

So here’s the challenge: don’t just tear down the prophets seeking numbers. Build something better alongside.
Their gospel is likes, what is yours?

Offer clarity without cruelty. Truth without carnival theatre.
Meaning isn’t found in a mic drop. It’s built in the quiet, in the messy, in the daily act of choosing to care.
